Vegan Cheezly Sausages by Soo

Recipe based on Glamorgan Sausages

Ingredients

  • 1 LEEK or 1 large onion
  • 5oz BREADCRUMBS fresh( brown or white)
  • 3 oz CHEEZLY dairy free cheese (produced by Redwood Foods) grated - obtainable from health food shops and supermarkets
  • 2 tspoonfuls MUSTARD (ready made)
  • 1 desertspoonful TAHINI
  • 1 desertspoonful SOYA FLOUR
  • PEPPER
  • OIL for frying

    Method

    In a food processor chop leek up finely, add breadcrumbs,cheezly,mustard,soya flour and tahini and freshly milled pepper.Mix well.

    With floured hands make mixture into sausage shapes and fry until golden.

    Also good made into small nuggets and use for party snacks etc.
    Excellent cold.
